Artist Level Awards

FIRST PRIZE

  • A cash award of $6,000;
  • an international concerto performance with an orchestra T.B.D., which includes accommodation and a paid roundtrip flight from any country in the world, and which will take place during the 2015-2016 concert season;
  • a recording of a solo CD;
  • a performance in Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in May 2016;
  • and recitals throughout Louisiana.

SECOND PRIZE

  • A cash award of $3,000;
  • and a performance in Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in May 2016.

THIRD PRIZE

  • A cash award of $1,500;
  • and a performance in Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in May 2016.

SEMIFINALISTS

  • A cash award of $200.

SPECIAL PRIZES

  • Additional awards may or may not be announced for select competitors at the end of the competition.

Prizes and Awards will be announced and presented immediately following the Final Round with the Rapides Symphony Orchestra, at the closing ceremony of the competition on October 24, 2015.

Prizes are subject to change and may be subject to taxation.
