Application

Artist Level

The deadline for this year's Artist-Level applications is, August 1, 2015.

All applications are confidential, and each applicant will be notified by e-mail of his or her acceptance or rejection as a competitor by September 1, 2015. All accepted competitors' names will be posted on this website.

Artist Level Application

Along with the completed application form, please submit the following:

1. A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate or equivalent proof of age;
2. A photograph as a high-resolution JPEG file by e-mail (application@lapianocompetition.org);
3. A short biography with clear indication of academic degrees and artistic achievement;
4. A recent, unidentified CD recording of the applicant's performance of all the music chosen for the first round of the competition
(see repertoire requirements);
5. Payment either by PayPal or credit card here online, or a non-refundable application fee of $100.00 in a cashier's check or money order (no personal checks) made out to the Louisiana International Piano Competition. International participants from outside of the USA can send a cashier's check in U.S. Dollars ($), which can be obtained from their local bank.

 

PLEASE NOTE: ALL CORRESPONDENCE FROM THE COMPETITION WILL BE SENT VIA E-MAIL. Please add application@lapianocompetition.org to your e-mail address book to ensure that you receive our messages.

Junior Level

The deadline for this year's Junior-Level applications, September 10, 2011, has passed.

All applications are confidential, and each applicant will be notified by e-mail of his or her acceptance or rejection as a competitor by September 25, 2011. All accepted competitors' names will be posted on the website.

3. A recent, unidentified CD recording
(see repertoire requirements);
4. Payment either by PayPal or credit card here online, or a non-refundable application fee of $40.00 in a cashier's check or money order (no personal checks) made out to the Louisiana International Piano Competition. International participants from outside of the USA can send a cashier's check in U.S. Dollars ($), which can be obtained from their local bank.
